Scouts caters for Boys and Girls aged 10 1/2 years to 14 years of age

At Chaldon we have one Scout Troop which meets on a Friday evening at our HQ. For more information contact our Group Scout Leader using the link on the home page or links section.

Scouts meet for an hour and a half each week during term time on a Friday evening at our HQ building, although frequently we meet away from the HQ and on these occasions the session may finish a little later. Meetings are usually split between games and badge work covering a range of skills.

We also try to include activities such as, climbing, archery. kayaking, air rifle shooting and many others into the programme.

An integral part of scouting and of being a scout is having the opportunity to experience camping and this is something we do as often as we can at Chaldon and something most of our scouts really enjoy with camp fires, cooking, hiking and generally having the freedom of camping out in the open.
