Cub scouts caters for Boys and Girls aged 8 years to 10 1/2 years of age

At Chaldon we have one Cub pack which meets on a Thursday evening at our HQ. For more information contact our Group Scout Leader using the link on the home page or links section.

Cubs meet for an hour and a quarter each week during term time on a Thursday evening at our HQ building. Meetings are usually split between games and badge work which can range from first aid, cooking, to swimming, horse ridding and so on.

We also try to include visits such as a recent visit to Godstone fire station, climbing, archery and air rifle shooting.

An integral part of scouting and of being a cub scout is having the opportunity to experience camping and this is something we do as often as we can at Chaldon and something most of our cubs really enjoy with camp fires, cooking and generally having the freedom of camping out in the open.
